Electric Vehicle Charging Station - Regional Account Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

This is an incredible opportunity to get broad exposure and provide significant impact in growing all aspects of our highly entrepreneurial EV charging business. We are seeking for a Regional Account Manager to lead the overall sales and business development effort for the Electric Vehicle (EV) segment in Puerto Rico.

The Regional Account Manager must deliver excellent results and achieve quarterly goals for the site development team and the organization. The Regional Manager will be expected to develop an effective and cohesive team, aid in negotiation and strategy, ensure standards and procedures are met on a consistent basis, lead strategic business planning, and mentor and deliver feedback to members of the team. Candidates for this position must be strong managers, team players, excellent communicators, able to translate strategic themes into concrete action plans, provide consistent feedback to identify, prioritize, resource, and operationalize projects. The successful candidate will be people-focused, goal-motivated, adaptable in a start-up environment, strategic, nimble negotiator, and self-starter.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meet and exceed individual revenue and quota.
  • Qualify and develop new business opportunities from outbound/inbound calls, leads, general prospecting and email marketing. This includes cold calling and networking in the region to develop ones own opportunities.
  • Develop strategy and sales plans for sales into the electric vehicle market segment.
  • Perform sales presentations and demonstrations to customers and prospects.
  • Partner with channel partners and/or service partners to develop sales opportunities and to support sales and implementation activities.
  • Accurately forecast revenue from national accounts, maintain contact information, business history and opportunity details in company's CRM continuously.

Develop a strong technical baseline through training and development milestones.

Work closely with cross-functional teams in Marketing, Product, Sales Engineering and Customer Support.

 

Requirements of the Sales Position:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Experience in sales, in a technical and/or electronics industry
  • Prior knowledge or experience in the EV Industry, including EV Charging, lithium-Ion battery technology knowledge or understanding of OCPP. Understanding of modern grid principles as it applies to distributed energy resources.

Compensation

Salary: $32,390.00 - $69,269.00 per year
